About Salem Christian School
Salem Christian School has been providing quality education for more than 35 years, for Grades 3K through 8. We believe that what children learn during the elementary
years provides a lifelong basis for the person that they will become. SCS strives
to provide a nurturing, wholesome culture in which children can grow to their
full potential. We work together as a
community to teach our students Christian compassion, morality, work ethic, good
study habits and personal character.

The Salem Christian School shall support the mission of Centerpoint Community Church by providing the children of our congregation, as well as others in the community, a superior education academically, spiritually, and socially in a Christ-centered, Biblically-based environment.

Philosophy of Education
We believe in a Christ-centered, Bible-based education. We want to provide each student with the skills necessary for academic success and a life of service to God and others. Our goal is to help each child develop to his or her full potential.
Chapel and Bible Study
Learning about God's love and understand the Bible are key elements of the Salem Christian School mission. All grades incorporate Biblical principles in all subjects and also have regular Bible study classes every day except Wednesday. Wednesday mornings begin with a chapel service where the student Praise and Worship Team leads with music . We enjoy messages from a variety of local pastors. Each class has the opportunity to present a chapel once per year, by performing a skit or play. Attendance, positive study habits and Christian Character Awards are given on Chapel days. One week per year, the school participates in Spiritual Emphasis Week, in which an outside mission team offers a daily student ministry program..
